The fabrication of a Zamar instrument begins once you, the artist, place your order. The extended time required to fabricate a handcrafted Zamar instrument is worth the wait. The end result is an instrument that is not only pleasing to the ear, but an instrument that vibrates in the soul of every person who encounters the joy of music and artist combined.
We feel that when tailoring your custom instrument it is important for us to keep in mind your musical style and individual sound in order to select the right combination of wood to suit your needs both visually and audibly. We consider your personal ergonomics and tailor the instrument to you the musician, to provide a comfortable playing experience. This comes into play when you are facing a two-hour venue on stage or even longer hours in the studio.
Our Signature Zamar basses feature a neck through design with dual adjustable truss rods with the option of a hand crafted brass nut for a clearer tone. Signature Zamar basses are available in four, five, and six string configurations.
Zamar basses can be made in either a nine or eighteen volt configuration. And, to make your performance life just a little easier, every bass comes with a locking jack so you can avoid that embarrassing moment when you accidentally step on your cord and unplug your instrument with a loud pop in the middle of a concert or in a studio session.
